Currently Doing
With school coming to close in a few weeks, I have begun to think about a summer project. I wanted something challenging that would reinforce what I am learning in school, with the possibility of completing it over the three month break. The project I came around to was building a PlayStation emulator. This fulfills the first two requirements, but fails miserably at the third. But the first few hours spent on it were a lot of fun, so no matter how far I can get over the summer, this is the project for me. Maybe I will be able to at least get the BIOS working...
My app Round Robin is now in a fully workable state. The core of the app is in a good place, but there are a lot of small improvements to make, as well as it being in bad need of a rewritten interface. While building it, I changed course and turned it into a macOS app with a menu bar display of the time remaining. I eventually will get this working on iOS and watchOS as originally intended, but that will be a few months down the road. I want to stress test the main idea of it some more, but so far it has become an integral part of how I juggle all of hobbies and projects.
I have many other small toy apps that I am working on, in various stages of completion: an internet radio organizer, a small text adventure, and some helper libraries for future ideas. I work on these in my spare time, but the above two projects remain my focus.
